Hindi 201 suits students who already read and write Hindi comfortably. If you come from a Marathi-medium school, the script is the same, but vocabulary and grammar differ, so allow time for that. With 14 exam lessons out of 22, it is one of the lighter Class 10 subjects to plan.
Combining Hindi 201 with other subjects
It is a Group A language. For Class 10 you take 5 subjects, with one or two languages from Group A; the rest come from Group B. Transfer of Credit may apply if you passed it elsewhere in 2022 or later. Related: English 202, Mathematics 211, Science and Technology 212.
What SWOT does for Hindi 201
We guide the Hindi 201 TMA and check your drafts. Our classroom teaching is in English, and we don’t run Hindi-medium classes. The TMA is your own work: we explain the questions and check your draft, but we don’t hand out solved TMAs.
Premium package (TMA and practical guidance) ₹11,000. Classroom coaching at our Pune centre ₹12,500 per subject per year. Home tuition in Pune ₹750 per hour. NIOS fees are paid to NIOS.
