- Uttar Pradesh is split three ways. Gautam Buddh Nagar (Noida, Greater Noida) and Ghaziabad go to Delhi. Meerut, Bagpat, Saharanpur, Muzaffar Nagar, Moradabad and J.P. Nagar (Amroha) go to Dehradun. The rest of the state goes to Prayagraj.
- Haryana: Gurgaon, Faridabad, Palwal and Jhajjar go to Delhi. All other districts go to Chandigarh.
- West Bengal: Siliguri and Darjeeling go to Gangtok. The rest of the state, plus the Andaman & Nicobar Islands, goes to Kolkata.
- NIOS Cells: Darbhanga (Bihar), Shillong (for Meghalaya) and Port Blair are smaller NIOS offices listed alongside the Regional Centres.
What a Regional Centre does, and what it doesn’t
- Admission itself happens online on the NIOS portal, so you don’t visit the Regional Centre to apply.
- The Regional Centre handles official matters: documents it asks for (for example a failed marksheet for TOC, which must reach it within 10 days), corrections in your record, and exam-related problems.
- Contact classes, practicals and day-to-day help happen at your study centre (an accredited institution).
- In 2026-27, Block 2 admission is open from 16 September 2026 to 31 January 2027 without late fee, the same date in every state (Prospectus 2026-27).

What SWOT Academy does for you
Knowing your Regional Centre is the easy part. Where students usually get stuck is picking the right stream and subjects, getting documents accepted, and keeping up with TMAs and practicals. That is our work. We help online from Pune across India; we have no other branches:
- Eligibility check: your age, last marksheet and whether Transfer of Credit (TOC) can carry any subjects over.
- Subject combination that fits your goal (college, job, science or commerce) and NIOS group rules.
- Document check before anything is submitted, so the form isn’t sent back.
- Form filing on the official NIOS portal for you: Basic package, ₹6,500.
- TMA and practical guidance: Premium package, ₹11,000.
- Notes and classes: classroom coaching at our Pune centre, ₹12,500 per subject per year; home tuition in Pune, ₹750 per hour.
NIOS’s own admission and exam fees are separate and are paid directly to NIOS.
We’ll check eligibility, pick your subjects and file your form.
WhatsApp +91 96370 79675Questions
Which NIOS Regional Centre is mine if I live in Noida or Ghaziabad?
NIOS Regional Centre Delhi, whose office is in Noida. Both Gautam Buddh Nagar and Ghaziabad are in its jurisdiction under the 2026-27 prospectus.
Do I choose my Regional Centre?
No. It follows from where your study centre is. You choose a study centre in the admission form, and that centre’s Regional Centre handles your record.
Is there a Regional Centre for Goa?
Goa comes under NIOS Regional Centre Pune, along with Maharashtra, Daman & Diu and Dadra & Nagar Haveli.
Why does SWOT have a page for each state and district?
So a student in each place can see real figures from the official NIOS study-centre list for that place: centre counts, science and mediums. We still never list individual centre names or contacts; we check those for you.
Tell us your state and district
Send your last marksheet and where you live. We’ll tell you which Regional Centre and stream apply to you, which subjects make sense, and the dates that matter.
