English 202 is a reading course as much as a grammar course. The 16 exam lessons are spread across the book, so plan by lesson number rather than by section. For the TMA, answer in your own words; that is what the tutor checks. Students who struggle with English do better writing short, correct sentences than copying long passages.
Combining English 202 with other subjects
It is a Group A language. For Class 10 you take 5 subjects, with one or two languages from Group A; the rest come from Group B. Transfer of Credit may apply if you passed it elsewhere in 2022 or later. Related: Mathematics 211, Science and Technology 212, Social Science 213.

Is English compulsory in NIOS Class 10?
No. You need one or two languages from Group A, and English is only one of the choices. Most students take it because colleges and jobs expect it.
How many English 202 lessons are in the exam?
16 of the 27 lessons. The 11 TMA lessons are 2, 4, 7, 10, 11, 15, 17, 18, 20, 21 and 25.
