Chhattisgarh NIOS centres in numbers
On 8 October 2026 the official NIOS study-centre list showed 106 active listings in Chhattisgarh, from 105 institutions in 30 districts as NIOS names them. 64 of these institutions are schools or colleges and 41 (39%) are linked to ITIs. Science is offered on 61 listings (58%), and 36 listings (34%) show a renewal date that is still current. The districts with the most listings are Raipur (12), Durg (10), Janjgir-Champa (8), Raigarh (chhattisgarh) (7) and Baloda Bazar (6). By medium: Hindi and English (100); English only (6). Hindi medium is the default. English-medium listings, and English-medium science in particular, are scarce outside Raipur and Durg (including Bhilai).
