What the NIOS list shows for NTR
The 4 listings belong to 3 institutions, because NIOS lists a centre once for each medium it teaches in. 3 listings take Class 10 and 2 take Class 12. None of them is ITI-linked, so every one is a school or college that can take a general student. One listing offers science, which is about normal for Andhra Pradesh.
Medium, towns and PIN codes
For a Telugu-medium Class 10 student there is 1 listing; Hindi or English covers the rest. Addresses on the list point to Vijayawada, across 2 PIN codes in all.
Before you choose a centre in NTR
Your file goes to the NIOS Regional Centre Hyderabad. Admission, fees and documents are all handled online, so most students never need to go there. Do not assume you will sit the exam near home: the exam centre is printed on the hall ticket. If your last result was from the AP SSC or Intermediate board, keep the original marksheet ready; it decides what NIOS can credit. About 25% of the listings (1) show a current renewal date. Our part, for students in NTR, is to check whether a science seat is really available before you choose Physics, Chemistry or Biology, that the centre takes Class 12, not only Class 10 and that the centre’s registration is still current before anything is paid.
State-wide rules, fees and every district: NIOS admission in Andhra Pradesh. Block 2 admissions for 2026-27 run until 31 January 2027 without late fee. Exam centres: NIOS exam-centre page. Subjects: NIOS subjects. SWOT Academy is independent coaching in Pune and works with NTR students online: Basic ₹6,500 · Premium ₹11,000 · classroom ₹12,500 per subject per year · home tuition ₹750 an hour (Pune). NIOS fees are paid to NIOS.
