Reading the Hisar centre list

Each of the 21 listings is a different institution, so the count is not inflated by repeats. Senior Secondary (Class 12) is offered on 16 listings and Secondary (Class 10) on 21. Only one is ITI-linked; the other 20 are regular schools or colleges. About 62% of the listings (13) include science, in line with the rest of the state.

Medium and where the centres are

Almost every listing teaches in both Hindi and English. They are spread across 9 PIN codes, so travel time differs a lot from one centre to the next.

What to check in Hisar

Remember that the exam centre is fixed by NIOS later and can differ from your study centre. A marksheet from BSEH with one or two passed subjects is useful here, because NIOS can credit up to two of them. Roughly 33% have a renewal date that has not yet passed, so a quick check before applying is sensible. Admission, fees and documents are handled online, so most students never need to visit the Regional Centre. When a student from Hisar sends us a marksheet, we check that the centre’s registration is still current and whether Transfer of Credit can carry subjects over from your last marksheet, then file the form.
