Pick your class, then tick the subjects you want. The checker applies the NIOS rules from the 2026-27 prospectus: five subjects, one or two languages from Group A, at most seven subjects in all, and for Class 12 only one subject from each of Groups C, D, E and F.

- Admission fee for 5 subjects: Class 10 is ₹2,340 for boys, ₹1,890 for girls and third gender, and ₹1,560 for SC/ST, ex-servicemen and persons with disabilities. Class 12 is ₹2,600, ₹2,150 and ₹1,690.
- Each additional subject: ₹940 at admission, up to seven subjects in all.
- Exam fee: ₹300 per subject for each exam you sit, plus ₹150 for a subject with a practical. If you sit your subjects across two exams, you pay the exam fee each time.
- Online payment charge: ₹70 on every online payment. The estimate above assumes two payments (admission and one exam).
- Not included: late fees, Transfer of Credit (TOC) fees, and the different fees for Streams 2, 3 and 4 and the On-Demand Exam. We confirm these with you if they apply.

What SWOT Academy charges

Questions about subjects and fees
Can I take three languages in NIOS?
Yes, but only two count towards your certificate. The third is treated as an additional subject, so you still need five subjects made up of one or two languages and the rest from other groups.
Why can’t I take Physics and History together?
Both are in Group C. NIOS holds the exams of each of Groups C, D, E and F at the same time, so you can take only one subject from each of these groups at Class 12.
Is the fee shown here final?
The NIOS part follows the 2026-27 prospectus, but late fees, TOC and stream changes can add to it. You pay NIOS only on its official portal. Our coaching fees are fixed as listed.
