Before you choose a centre in Madurai

The study centre and the exam centre are separate; NIOS publishes exam centres before each session. If your last result was from the Tamil Nadu state board, keep the original marksheet ready; it decides what NIOS can credit. 2 of 9 listings have a renewal date that is still current; the rest should be confirmed before you apply. Admission, fees and documents are handled online, so most students never need to visit the Regional Centre. When a student from Madurai sends us a marksheet, we check that the centre takes Class 12, not only Class 10, that the centre’s registration is still current and a Tamil-medium seat if you want one for Class 10, then file the form.
