How many NIOS centres Jhansi has
The 20 listings belong to 19 institutions, because NIOS lists a centre once for each medium it teaches in. Science is marked on 13 of the 20 listings (65%), well above the Uttar Pradesh figure of about 51%. Senior Secondary (Class 12) is offered on 19 listings and Secondary (Class 10) on 20. Not one is an ITI. All 19 are schools or colleges open to ordinary NIOS learners.
Medium and where the centres are
Of the institutions, two are for girls only and two are for boys only, which is worth knowing before you shortlist. Almost every listing teaches in both Hindi and English. From the addresses, listings sit in places such as Mauranipur and Jhansi, spread over 10 PIN codes.
Regional Centre, exams and our checks
The study centre and the exam centre are separate; NIOS publishes exam centres before each session. Students who did not clear the UP Board often weigh the board’s own re-exam against NIOS; we can compare both for you. Roughly 60% have a renewal date that has not yet passed, so a quick check before applying is sensible. NIOS Regional Centre Prayagraj, handles Jhansi. Forms, fees and document uploads are online, so a trip there is rarely needed.
