Biology 314 has 18 exam lessons and 13 TMA lessons. The exam weight sits in plant and animal physiology (Module II), reproduction and genetics (Module III), and the short Module V at the end, which some older guides list as TMA-only. The TMA lessons are scattered through Modules I–IV, so plan them separately. The practical is done at a centre that offers science.
Combining Biology 314 with other subjects
It is in Group E, which allows only one subject. Group E is Biology 314, Accountancy 320, Introduction to Law 338 and Military History 375, so you can take only one of these. Can I take Biology and Accountancy together?
No. Both are in Group E, which allows one subject, along with Introduction to Law 338 and Military History 375.
Is Biotechnology in the Biology 314 exam?
Yes. In the current bifurcation, Lessons 30 (Immunobiology) and 31 (Biotechnology) in Module V are public exam lessons. The 13 TMA lessons are 1, 4, 8, 9, 13, 14, 16, 18, 20, 24, 26, 27 and 29.
