In Physics 312 the exam weight sits in the later modules: Electricity and Magnetism and Atoms and Nuclei are fully exam-assessed. The first eight lessons are mostly TMA lessons (only 3 and 6 are exam lessons), so don’t mistake an easy start for the level of the exam. Physics also needs a centre that offers science for the practical, which rules out many listed centres.
Combining Physics 312 with other subjects
It is in Group C, which allows only one subject. Group C is Physics 312, History 315, Environmental Science 333 and Library & Information Science 339, so you can take only one of these. Can I take Physics with History in NIOS?
No. Physics 312 and History 315 are both in Group C, and you can take only one Group C subject.
Is Electricity and Magnetism in the Physics 312 exam?
Yes. Lessons 15–19 are all exam lessons, as are Atoms and Nuclei (Lessons 24–27).
